The Art of Wellbeing
Have you ever imagined creating art as a way of coming to understand your inner self?
As a tool for self healing and transformation?
Or as a tool for creating more joy in your life?
Being creative is such a wonderful way in which we can give ourselves permission to express ourselves in a more playful and free way than we may ordinarily. This opens the opportunity for deeper conversation with parts of ourselves that we may have been unconscious of or blind to. When we bring what has been lying in our unconscious into our awareness profound transformation can occur. Any way that we can free our creativity such as dancing, playing music or creating art helps us bypass the mind and tap into our inner wisdom.
Developing a relationship with this inner wisdom helps us create a more peaceful, more alighned and more joyful life. And creating joy really is key!
When we follow our true inner voice, our own unique path, we are always following our happiness. Joseph Campbel said "Follow your bliss". Simply doing what makes you happy is the way to following your true path and true purpose.
So in this workshop we will aim to come to understand ourselves better, our passions, our true purpose and our unique essence.
And we will create art for the joy of getting to know ourselves and one another.
There is no need for any artistic experience. We will have fun with colour and form, we will create and explore in a relaxed way, we will gain some more clarity of purpose and a deeper sense of wellbeing.
We will share with one another and delight in our individual and collective magnificance......and then we will take all this goodness back out into the world!
Because if we can cultivate this peace and joy within ourselves and we can bring some of that into our families, our work situations and our daily lives the world will be a better place.
The workshop runs from 10am till 2pm.
The next workshop is running on Saturday May 26th 2018
